"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.  I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.  I was a stranger and you invited me in.  I needed clothes and you clothed me.  I was sick and you looked after me.  I was in prison and you came to visit me..."  - Matthew 26: 35-36

Our Mission

Founders Donald and Annie Farrell
Annie’s Resale for the World was created to facilitate the collection of “gently used” good quality clothing and household goods from individuals, churches, groups and organizations so they can be presented for resale through our shop in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.  The profits from these sales are shared with seven Christian organizations that are now serving the extreme poor in Chicago and in developing countries around the world.

Our seven Partners have been selected because of the high level of integrity, trustworthiness, commitment and hope they bring to those they serve.  Donald and Annie Farrell, along with the majority of the Board of Directors, have personally visited our Partner countries on a number of occasions.  We have witnessed firsthand their work in towns and villages throughout Haiti, India, Africa and the U.S.  All of our Partners have a proven history of successfully serving men, women and children in desperate need, and we want to support them in their work.

Several times a year, our Partners are asked to submit brief funding proposals outlining current projects or services within their countries. These proposals are then reviewed by our Board of Directors.  Profits from the resale shop sales are then distributed to our Partners in amounts decided upon by the Board.
